Surprised the Coogs are only a 6 point favorite. Southern Miss has some good numbers on defense but they're going up against the best offense in the nation. What's the TV situation for this game, is it only on Comcast? So Miss 20 Houston 45
If anyone knows the exact channel the game is on please post. Game came on ch 106 (Comcast Houston) last wk but not sure if it will be on that station Saturday.
I'm confident that Rice will not lose to anybody this week. UH, on the other hand, has a lot more risk of losing
Va Tech just lost so once the coogs handle up on Southern Miss we should be even close to the top 10. Need Oregon and Ok State to lose.
Go Coogs!!!!! We are gonna get this! Case Keenum Tyron Carrier Sims David Hunter Lets go Coogs! btw i think this week will not be on the college sports network...cbc or whatever it's called...it's on CSS i think that's comcast..
I have a question. Before i ask it, i'l'l admit i am a football noob, i just started watching football (college). Here we go... I don't understand all this BCS buster thing, how does the BCS work? How come just because we lost one game, we can't be still be in the BCS title? What if the other teams on top of us all lose more than us? How come UH never plays UT? I sure would like us to upset the UT fans. That's pretty much my question, about the BCS. Thanks in advance.
Where can you park if you have student commuter parking, will they let you park across the street or do we have to pay?
The BCS is hard enough to understand for people who have followed College Football for years lol... Basically its a system that was developed to supposly assure that the top 2 teams regardless of conference would meet in a national championship game by taking aspects of the BCS computers and Coaches Poll. Only the powerconferences like big 12, Big 10, SEC, big east, ACC, PAc 10 and Notre Dame are invited along with one team outside this group if they reach the top 12 in the BCs standings. UofH's problem is that because they lost and lost to a much inferior opponent there ranking is to low and have two teams from outside those conferences already ahead of them(TCU/Boise St). So it would take both to lose and they would need to win out to have a shot. Someone correct or add if I left something out...
f the BCS....teams like UH that aren't in BCS conferences will never play in the MNC...it's nearly impossible
I'm thinking this will be a close game throughout with a FG winning the game either way. UH - 38 Southern Miss - 35
