Is Xavier McDaniel playing in this game? I can't remember which game it was, but Hakeem had the greatest block of his career in a game versus Xavier McDaniel and the Sonics.

Thanks for the tip. That's Hakeem's career high in points game with 52.

Ah, Mitchell Wiggins taking clutch shots...

    A few observations...

    - Olajuwon was REALLY REALLY good.
    - Olajuwon did NOT trust his teammates.
    - Thank God the shorts got longer.
    - I'm glad the "Fade" is gone as a hair style.
    - Dick Bavetta looks exactly the same 12 years later.
    - So does Don Cheney.
    - Carroll Dawson didn't used to wear glasses the thickness of a coke bottle.
    - Man, I miss the 130-point games.
    - I miss "The Summit"
    - The rims in there sounded like the rims in a high school gymnasium.
    - Bench chairs sponsored by Z107.5 - Classic Rock.
    - Doug Moe looked even more like a drunk Vegas gambler than I remember.
    - Bill Worrell was as good then as he is now.
    - Mike Newlin was just as smart and had just as much of a lisp.

Thanks for pointing out this was on. Got a little bit of my needed basketball fix. :)

Was there anyone at that game?!? Good lord, I thought they were showing shots of the arena from an hour before the game, but it turns out it was the starting lineup announcements! Damn!

And don't be knocking Doug Moe Jeff. That ain't cool man. ;)

Scoring wasn't what Dream did best
    but FWIW
Kobe scored 56, and Jordan scored 51 this season

of course Kobe is about to turn 24 years old...

Michael Adams during that game was SO DAMN FAST!!! He would scorch Floyd and Maxwell on drives. That game was so fast paced. Wiggins had a silky touch during that game too. Buck Johnson had some nice moves underneath. But it sucked to see them lose. I don't know why they left Fat Lever open on that last play before regulation...but oh, well....
