    I don't know about all of you negative Nancys, but I for one am just enjoying the return of Rocket basketball...ANY basketball is good basketball as far as I'm concerned.

    ariza doesnt have the man defense artest gave us. artest gave roy fits last year. portland has two 7 footers who like to play hard so can't expect chuck hayes to outrebound them.

    I know the reason why our offense sucks, but hey, why the heck our defense become so soft by one offseason. we are allowing too much 3 point oppotunity

    Portland is a straight up shot blocking team with all their height and length, so they are taking away a lot of the easy buckets the Roxs would normally get.

    Overall, I am a little disappointed in how our second unit played D. Even last year we had offensive struggles so the offense hasn't entirely been as worrisome as the defense in my opinion.

    Agree. IN the 1st half the starters were solid. The 2nd unit need to step up better. We can't overplay the 1st unit everynight.

    Man that first dunk is so commanding. He had one of his best games against POR last year, I think he dropped 31..

    At least he'd have the balls to shoot and not second guess himself and be hesitant.

    That's not the reason why I miss him though. I miss his toughness and grit he brought to the team. The team just looks so different and soft without him in the lineup. Like it or not Artest brought extra toughness out of all our players. When you look on the court there's no LEADER out there. That's what Artest was for us as crazy as that sounds. Every time out, every dead ball ... it was Artest that huddled the troops and lead. We have no more of that.
