I hope this performance doesn't pressure those responsible to bring T-Mac back too soon.

Battier said it best in the Chronicle story this morning. "Those that expect us to be a finished product in the opener will be sorely disappointed. The Blazers are a contender in the Western Conference. The Rockets are going to struggle to come together.

finally TO, hard to watch, seems the purpose of our offense is to create opportunites for Blazers....

Should at least slow down, and take time to organize even without Yao...

Scola looks tired and in a rush tonite

A big problem is that Scola has done nothing so far.

Yeah, that may be a factor. But I think they are not gonna make the same mistake again.

Ya, but most people didn't notice this and expected us to win NBA champions this year or something.

I think the sky fell back in July when Yao went out. If people placed too much value and stock on just a supporting cast, they set themselves up for disappointment. I love these guys, but they need a lead.

With that said, this is the Blazers in Portland... this is a tough game. It's also not over. I think though a better test for the Rockets will be tomorrow in Golden State.

I can't decide what's more painful: watching the game, or watching the comments in this thread.

it's just his first real game, I've interest in watching B develop himself.
I believe he is going to do it better and better.

It's not pleasant experience to see Rox lose the opener this bad though.
