Is it just me or do we have too many good players?!? Steve Francis, Cuttino Mobley, Glen Rice (Healthy) , Eddie Griffin, Maurice Taylor(Healthy) . With a better than avg pf in Kenny thomas an able back-up pg in Moochi Norris, a Decent center in Kelvin Cato and especially if Ming and Nachbar pan out this team could be a force to be reckoned with. Maybe im just going off but I'm really excited to see what this team can do when everybody is healthy with our draft picks. I think were as deep if not deeper than the Mavs and Kings if things work out.
Yes, it seems we have all the pieces in place. No more need to trade anyone. All we need to do is keep this team together and let the chemistry develop. (Well, it wouldn't kell me if they could trade Taylor after this season)
We have to many good players, but only 2 or 3 of them really care about scoring. I think Francis will shoot less once he has some confidence in the good players around him. Griff will be a team players, Cat....well um. And, and Ming will score when ever we give him the ball, so he should get about 15 shots a game. I'm bored of typing now.
we have good players but we need to have two great ones and a supporting cast. I think we are well on the way!
we have one great player in steve. we have to chances at a second great player; either ming or griffin. the third option is in place with cat. and we have great role players in cato, moT, nachbar, mooch, Tmo, and kt if he is not traded. rice will probobly retire before we get there. but we are on our way!
now take your lineup and consider the defensive capabilities of these players. Assume we are 5 minutes into the game so Ming has fouled out. Now consider the turnovers. I think other teams in the West are salivating
You can have too many good players who need the ball to be good players. Perhaps that's what was meant.
