Yea, it would of been really fun if we would of snagged Roy in that draft as originally planned.

How can I bet the 2011 Rockets will win the championship? I'm in lottery or playoffs. In Morey I trust. Long live Dork Elvis.

holy sheesh, if there's THAT many people on the bandwagon right now, there will be just as many after the portland game.

pretty sure those still on the wagon knows fully where this rocket team is at

I've been on the bandwagon since the San Diego Rockets drafted Big E #1 in 1969. As for this coming season: Run and gun, baby! Go Rockets!

That's right -- and it's those who are NOT on the bandwagon who are clueless.

Sorry, naysayers, but you'll be dumped on mercilessly by mid-season. Might as well start getting used to it, now. Except for the cowards among you who will suddenly change tunes and say, "I *knew* this was no lottery team! I told you guys!"

happy or not miller has to deal with it. The rotation is Roy, Aldridge, Oden, Blake, and Webster. I'm almost happy Batum is getting surgery because now Webster and Rudy can get more minutes. Furthermore, Roy and Aldridge were unhappy because it took too long to get the contracts signed. However, Roy recieved over 80 million and Aldridge received 70 million. I can assure you they're happy.

Whatever happens, this team is going to be a beast next year! All these rookies are going to get valuable experience and playing time, then next year enter Yao Ming and another top notch pro. Eventually add a 15ish draft pick, and OMAGAD we are contending again! Excited to see how they do! Go JT & Bud!

I think anyone who still regularly posts (or lurks) at this point can be considered a real fan, rather than a bandwagon fan. Bandwagon fans are the hordes of people who will register towards the end of the season if we have a good record, or after we have wins against the Lakers or Spurs.

I try not to let getting old be too big a deal, but... I remember Moses and Rudy and Calvin and Rick Barry as Rocket players, so maybe I should be shopping for long-term care insurance! Heck, I remember Adelman playing for Portland, Phil "Action" Jackson for the Knicks, Sloan for da Bulls (dude was a mauler)... I only hope I'll wind up in a facility that offers NBA League Pass.

The start of this season's just as exciting to me as the past 40 season starts. This squad will be easy to root for. No one gives us much of a chance; but, heck, our roster's at least as good as the one that took L.A. to seven games!

i agree, its not like the blazers were lighting it up in the preseason, they have as much growing to do in theyre own team as we do. I can see a close game tonite.
