Yes. From what I remember of him, he's a decent veteran backup PG with championship experience who can teach our young PGs a thing or two. We probably won't pick him up though because we'd have to eat a contract but he would improve our team, if not Les Alexander's bank account.
The whole reason he was waived was because he did NOT want to be the #3 PG in Minnesota this year. He wanted to get a chance to be a rotation player. I have a feeling that HE wouldn't want to play in Houston if it meant playing behind both Brooks and Lowry.
As far as skill goes, i'm not sure he'd be an upgrade over Conroy....he's only got experience on him and i think we have enough "nba" experience on this team. The fact that he's got some championship experience won't mean much this year for us.
Agreed. He's better than Will Conroy if you ask me. Daniels is a nice presence in the locker room, plays with a decent IQ, and he still plays rock solid defense given his age.
