I would've liked to see how the defense fared with that three point game situation to see if they'd get a stop. Maybe Adelman thought even if the Mavs missed, they'd still get the offensive rebound.

This team will live and die by the 3 pointers.

Please God don't let this be how they play this season. On a side note Pops did pretty good.

That was our team without Scola... Plus Brooks at his worst.

We tried to force way too many passes inside in that 4th quarter. That was our undoing.

I didn't get to see the 1st half, did they get significant minutes together?

I have never really liked that combination. Two small guards to an already undersized team? And for dang sure not with Brooks playing like that tonight. :D

Yeah, I thought since we were down in the waning moments of the 4th Rick would trust AB with the offensive responsibility to bring us back.. I guess since AB was so utterly useless tonight he thought otherwise.

He cant have games like this in the regular season we really need him..

Yup, I said when Yao went down. Opposing teams are just gonna go to a sagging zone and load up the box.
They'll let us take the perimeter shot all day. If we can't consistantly knock that down, it's gonna be even tougher to put up points.

    Lowry reallllllyyy outplayed Brooks tonight.
Lowry was very solid. He looks like a promising PG.

But was it just me, or did Brooks seem a little out of it tonight...?
As in maybe he had other things on his mind.
This is just speculation, but Brooks seems like the guy that would be easily affected by outside sources (Wife, family, friends, etc etc.).

this being said, games like this will happen, like it did last year for brooks. only dif now is that brooks will be covered since yao isnt demanding doubles anymore.

t/o's will be more since passes will be more frequent forced. plus with us playing faster, that alone will be more t/os, i believe this preseason showed that alone.

too many people thinking were gonna cruise to a 8th seed.

forget that, its gonna be a struggle.

Brooks might not be 100% for whatever reason. It's one pre-season game. I think it's better if we just forget about it. He had dominant games in the playoffs, then games he was really average in. We need him to be consistent to have a shot at the playoffs. Lowry is a great PG, but we also need Brooks' points, until McGrady comes back anyway. Lowry + McGrady = Profit.

damn it. Then he would be Tmac version 2.0.
but it's preseason. I would just give him the benefit of doubt. His shooting was off.
