Should I trade Mike Sims-Walker and Ahmad Bradshaw for Matt Forte and Jay Cutler (Cutler would be a back-up for Big Ben)? It would make my 3 starting RB's Ronnie Brown, Adrian Peterson, and Matt Forte. My WR's would then me Derrick Mason and Roddy White, with Kevin Walter as a back-up. I'm hoping to snag Sidney Rice on waivers this week, though!
What you don't understand is that the Pats had a brutal schedule in the beginning of the season (faced tough pass defenses) AND Brady was still a bit rusty due to missing the entire season last year AND Welker was hurt. Now they have a easier schedule, Brady is back in sync with his receivers, Welker is back. OMG man you made a huge mistake here.... This was a real bad trade. You should have looked deeper than "well Brady had a few average weeks to start the season...." eek
What? Brady did not play in the pre season so he can shake his rust?? He is not his former self sigh... 7 Oct 25 NE @ TB Good game for Brady 8 Bye 9 Nov 08 MIA @ NE Good Game 10 Nov 15 NE @ IND Bad Matchup 11 Nov 22 NYJ @ NE Bad Matchup 12 Nov 30 NE @ NO Bad Matchup 13 Dec 06 NE @ MIA Wash 14 Dec 13 CAR @ NE Good Game 15 Dec 20 NE @ BUF Good Game 16 Dec 27 JAC @ NE Wash 17 Jan 03 NE @ HOU Bench for playoffs *(Knee)
Someobody in my league offered Ray Rice for Roy Williams like 3 weeks ago when Mcgahee was a td scoring machine. I declined.
Should I play the Vikings D this week @ Pittsburgh or pick up a defense like the Packers vs. the Browns for this week? How many other players do you have that I do? QB: Tom Brady QB: Joe Flacco RB: Adrian Peterson RB: Ronnie Brown RB: Ahmad Bradshaw RB: Jonathan Stewart RB: Tim Hightower WR: Mike Sims-Walker WR: Hines Ward WR: Donald Driver WR: Mario Manningham WR: T.J. Houshmanzadeh K: Lawrence Tynes DEF: Vikings I also had Big Ben, but I traded him Week 1: 23.2 Week 2: 7.8 Week 3: 15.8 Week 6: 39.2 I won all these games, I started Flacco in weeks 4 and 5
Even if Pitt puts up crazy points, the sacks from Jared Allen should compensate swimmingly. I'm probably on that purple people eater stuff though.
Need to start 2 of Mendenhall (MIN), Leon W. (@Oak), Bradshaw (ARI). PPR. Mendenhall hasn't had a tough matchup yet, but his numbers aren't extraordinary. I think Pit will win and I could see him scoring, but I don't know if the yards will be there. Leon, sigh. He just seems like he should be producing so much more with that line. You know OAK is going to stack the line in this one. Why not dump the ball off to Leon and let him do his thing? Seems like that could fix a lot of the Sanchez issues but I've only seen one of their games. Actually haven't started Bradshaw yet (haven't needed to though).
I'll say Mendenhall. It's a risk, but he might step up. I picked up Mendenhall before the Detroit game knowing that I'd drop him for week 7. ricky Williams was supposed to be his replacement, but i decided to just keep Mendenhall and play him. He might legitimize his status as the starting RB for the Steelers this week
nope, lost by 5 in 1 game. Didn't get any particularly great performance out of anyone, just average stuff.
Which one of these backs should I pick up in place of Devery Henderson: Beanie Wells Jerome Harrison Willie Parker Right now I have Parker at the top of my waiver order but there is a guy desperate for running backs and I am afraid he'll pick him up.
of those three i'd go with jerome harrison.. wells ain't doing much, and won't for a while as he still learns pass blocking/ball protection.. willie parker is pretty much worthless now that mendenhall is starting. one of my own.. of these 3 RB's, which 2 should i start? ahmad bradshaw against Arizona pierre thomas against Miami larry johnson against San Diego arizona and miami run defenses are excellent, despite thomas jones going crazy against miami 2 weeks ago.. LJ has been awful, but he still gets 20+ touches and san diego has one of the worst run defenses in football... but it's such a big risk.. any thoughts? i am leaning towards starting LJ and bradshaw...
Help! Should I trade LT for Glen Coffee + Manningham? I don't like the trade. Both players i receive will be descending their team's depth chart imo. Thoughts?
I think you got it right. I would pick LJ and ahmad Bradshaw as well. Bradshaw has been seeing a lot of the ball to not pick him, and LJ is due to hit it big...what better opponent than SD? You have good RBs on your team
I'd go with Thomas and Johnson. Arizona, surprisingly, has by far the best rush defense in the league: http://espn.go.com/nfl/statistics/team/_/stat/rushing/sort/rushingYardsPerGame/position/defense
It's like pick your poison, but I'd choose Harrison. Beanie Wells is a fumbling mess, and Willie Parker has injuries and a better RB to deal with
do NOT do this.. unless you are EXTREMELY weak at WR, you do not need to trade LT for mario manningham.. glen coffee is a backup now that gore is back, and even when he was starting he was only average. LT is higher potential for a better season now that he seems to be relatively healthy. don't do it.
haha, yes i know my RB's are pathetic.. but i drafted WR WR with my first two picks.. my WR's, andre, fitz and colston have carried me with schaub at QB. i just got a trade proposed to me.. matt forte and willie parker for fitzgerald and eddie royal.. parker is terrible, and royal has been very unproductive.. so i see this as forte for fitz.. i have andre and colston at WR already, but i just wana know if a fitz for forte switch is good.... i feel like fitz will produce more than forte this year
I have Celek, but I'm thinking about dropping him. Here are the available TE's: Vernon Davis (@Houston) Visanthe Shiancoe (@Pittsburgh) Greg Olsen (@Cincinnati) Celek is playing @Washington Should I keep Celek, or drop him for one of the these guys?
