    I just watched Clerks the other day. They are supposed to be making a Clerks 2.

    Is there a prequel to Clerks?

    What is the order of those movies? Clerks, MallRats, Chasing Amy, Dogma, Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back.

    In the "Askew-niverse", Mallrats occurs the day before Clerks does, I think. I'm not so sure about how the rest fit in time-wise. They are only loosely connected as far as I can tell. Rent the DVD's and the audio commentary can probably fill you in.

    That's not Dante in Mallrats.

    One of the running gags throughout the series is that Brian O'Hallorans cameos in Mallrats -> Dogma are all as a different Hicks cousin.
