Location: Texas Age: 27 Height: 6'0 Chicken, Turkey cold cuts, salads, pizzas I buy maybe a 2 litter of soda a week. I don't eat out and eat cup o noodles or leftovers for lunch at work. daily price? I would say $4.00
Probably less than 3 dollars per day, including the canned soda or bottled water, snack bag of chips or pretzels, frozen dinner from walmart or leftovers from dinner the night before... and a snack like fruit in a cup... I don't eat out and I eat light ALL the time. My coworkers are surprised whenever I say "I'll go with you guys" once every two weeks or so... and they STILL ask me to go out to eat with them all the time... 34, Houston/Katy, 5'8" 165 lbs. LOL @ people spending so much on "eating out for lunch" then complaining about " the economy [waaaaahhh!!!!]" or "I am taking so many calories... i need to work out more... boo-hoo"... You need someone to cook, prepare, and serve you the gazelle you just caught? Makes no sense to me, sir.
trust me, i'm chinese, i do all of the above. personally, i drink lots of water b/c other drinks stain your teeth, it's extra calories and i only order it if i'm craving it. it's the marriage thing that makes it more expensive. he always gets an iced tea or coke and if it's mexican food (which we do often), queso is mandatory. i def take home and reheat for a snack or meal later. and we don't do dessert or coffee. i try to bring my lunch and the only way he'll bring a lunch is if i pack it for him. and yup, they have chicken like that at kroger too and i pick that up at times. good for throwing into soups too. def a great deal!!
I'm always shocked at how much garbage/filler people eat. You are what you eat, don't cheap out on it...
Good luck fighting that fight on this board. It will be me, you, and finalsbound against the angry mob of fast food junkies.
True. But, Moes is still on the fence. He's coming around though. He's a perfect example though of someone who ate complete garbage and then made a change and can probably tell his story about how much better he feels/looks.
Not a vegan yet, I still eat Taco Bell every once in a while. My heart is in the right place. I've been around food snobs all my life. My parents were crazy health nuts and then I married into a family of crazy health nuts. "In my heart I'm a vegan, but in my mouth... I'm... not" - Jason Schwartzman Bored to Death
I could never go vegan. I don't eat red meat, but I do eat chicken, fish, and eggs. I could possibly give up chicken, but never fish and never eggs. I'm a protein junkie.
