he's keeping Cuttino from being an all-star. Iwonder what Cat can do with a true PG. I think Steve is stunting Cat's development/game.
I think Cat has about leveled off and Steve is the one with more potential to get better. In the future with Griffin, Nachbar, and Ming taking more of the shots I honestly see Mobley settling in at around 16 pts per game avg. but with a better shotting %. IMO
No kidding. Cuttino was 13th in the league in scoring last season..and that was with Steve jacking up 25 shots a game and ignoring him on every possession. Then off the court it was even worse with all of the incidents between the two. We need to trade Steve for a PG that would actually pass the ball the Cuttino, since Steve has his own agenda and has set out to keep The Cat from reaching his superstar potential!
Are you people nuts? Mobley is not **** to Francis. Mobley plays no d and all he does is jack up shots. I like the cat but he will never be an allstar. Francis on the other hand will be the best pg in the game in about 3 years.
It is obvious this thread was made as a joke (going back to the threads that said that Cat stunted Steve's growth), at least that's what I assume. As for Cat not being an all-star. Freaking Tyrone Hill was an All-Star. I wouldn't be surprised if Cat was an All-Star once or twice in his career.
I don't think Cat has leveled off. He will continue play like he did after the all-star break and average 25 pts a game this year. Ming will open up the middle for him. I also think his defense will much better this year.
Don't underestimate the cat. He says he's working on his D this summer. You remember, he's taking yoga.
Cat was a pretty good defender in college, and even though the NBA is another level defense is defense anyway you look at it so I think he can learn to play D at the NBA level. Hopefully he's working hard on it!
You are joking right when you say Steve doesn't pass to Mobley. In case you haven't noticed Mobley is the only one that Steve does pass to.
Steve carried the team last year, look at the record when he was out. That says it all. When Steve was out last year, Mobley was swarmed and with the addition of the zone it only made things tougher on both of them. They compliment each other - they don't hurt each other. I think we have the best back court in the NBA and it will stay that way for a long time. Mobley is a future all-star and underrated. But he jacks as much as Francis if not more. They are both vital parts to our ring in 2005.
I know your joking gr8-1, but the mispelling in the thread title would be a little more a propos with an extra "i" added. Sieve Francis: defensive specialist
