You know, maybe Kobe is better at making his teammates better than we give him credit for. Cook used to be a rotation player and shot close to 40% 3pters when he played on Kobe's team. That's how he got his current contract.

Why doesn't anyone have videos of Brian Cook passing?

I know why, because he never ******* plays!

I second that....with the size problem we have right know were not going to release a 6'10 guy from the roster.....even if he is useless :D

He's 6-10, can shoot at a high percentage with great range, and knows his role and understands the game.

You can do a lot worse at the bottom of your roster.

Every year we have a $3-$4 million expiring contract and every year the same thing happens. We cut/release that player. What's different this season? Unless you want to package him with one of Brooks/Lowry/Scola/Landry, I am sure this guy is gonna suck up his salary.

I don't think I can ever remember hating a Rockets player as much as I do Brian Cook. Just the mere sight of him waddling onto the court makes me angry. I don't know why.

Brian Cook SUX... The only reason he is still on the team is because he sux and nobody wants him. The rockets can't cut him because he will still get paid by them.

Whether intentional or not, he has a look on his face, and a certain gait while he's walking, that suggests he doesn't really give a crap what's going on. If he commits a dumb foul, takes a bad shot, doesn't box on a rebound, etc. -- his body language says, "Oops. Oh well."

Rod was one of my favorite players growing up so that mitigated his sucktitude with the Rockets. Anyways, he was old and broken down so it was forgivable.

Brian Cook disgusts me. I hate to say it. There's few things I abhor more than the apathy towards life and one's career which he exemplifies. If I were 6'9, I would be in the gym till dawn maximizing that gift. At the very least, I would ensure I could properly fit in my uniform. The day he is traded or waived cannot possibly come sooner. This man is the antithesis of what this team has been about for the past few years since Rudy left.

Hate all you want, but during a blowout game, when there's nothing left to play for, it's Brian Cook who'll be on the court keeping his cool when everyone else just wants to go home.

Brian Cook looks like an absolute moron on the court. The way he runs around, you could assume he was r****ded.
