but of course the brits have better commentating. how else can you make cricket and "football" interesting?
I didn't even know what a "schtick" was until I started posting candidly on this forum. It seems to be the typical response from people who can't come up with counter arguments and refuse to accept that there are a variety of personalities and viewpoints outside of their comfort zone. Sounds ignorant to me. Why don't you attempt to answer the question, or does it hit too close to home? Spoiler Shroopy: Great observation. There's a reason Americans are perceived as spoilt and ignorant outside of the US, it's because things come too easy to them. It develops a sense of entitlement and complacency. As a result the vast majority never develop a "fresh" or curious approach to life.
So let me get this straight. You want to insult and talk down to Americans on a predominately American board and you want people to calmly come up with "counter arguments"? You sound like the ignorant one here friend.
Yes, as always, you should look to clueless British sports commentators for criticisms of the American diet. The British, who brought to world cuisine the health-conscious miracle that is deep-fried fish & chips, and who regularly eat this for breakfast, are the true arbiters of taste and self-restraint. I daresay the American cheeseburger is an improvement. I applaud you, Ronny, for attempting your own "HUGE layup" in this instance that "just fell short."
LOL this is how they call Soccer games. Instead of "He had a open shot at the goal and missed." They'll go "He was given a great ball there and wasted it." Lol I love it
