    I've seen mentions of:

    Derrick Johnson
    Larry Johnson
    Dwayne Bowe
    Richard Seymour
    Glenn Dorsey
    Chris Chambers
    Shaun Rogers
    Clinton Portis
    Michael Huff
    Joe Thomas
    Brian Waters
    Roscoe Parish
    John McCargo
    Lendale White
    Keith Bulluck
    David Thornton

Who would you be interested in seeing the Texans bring in if anyone? With guys like D-Rob, Daniels, and Ryans all looking for $$$$ our window could be a little smaller than we think.

I would love to see Seymour on this team and Huff could probably be had for a song. IMO that's our two missing pieces, a great DT next to Okoye and a good safety. (Huff does have 3 INT this year).

    Thoughts?

Out of that list, I'd be real interested in Dorsey and Rogers, we could still use a space eater at DT. Huff has played much better this season and I would wouldn't mind adding him to our secondary if the price is right.

I skimmed that article like 10 times (ya skimmed oh well) and couldn't understand why Seymour would be on the table. Sounded like nonsense to be honest. Texans could use all the DTs mentioned (not Seymour he will be expensive and is more of a DE) and maybe even White since we can't punch it in.

Lendale White .......This guy would be a solution when combined with what we have. Forget about short yardage issues

And..I have to echo the platitudes for Dorsey.

VERY intriguing list...I just don't see the Texans doing anything. They seem to be pretty entrenched in their "build from within" philosophy.

That being said...you never know... :D

Agree, but today when they asked Kubiak about it during his presser he didn't answer yes or no and even seemed like he was hiding something.

Saying that I am sure there asking to see if they can get a steal but otherwise I don't see them giving up any high draft picks.

Let's see if we can cash in on that missed opportunity for Roscoe Parrish from the offseason!

Seriously though, the only thing I could even remotely see happening would be Rogers or Waters, and only if they were fairly cheap (3rd rd pick, 2nd at most). No way we take on Dorsey's contract and lack of work ethic.

If Jones-Drew ever gets on the block, we NEED to get him.

I didn't think NFL trades happen anymore. The last one I remember was the Oilers trading for Webster Slaughter

I have a feeling the Texans will make a trade tomorrow. There are still really weak at defensive tackle. Shaun Rogers would make the Texans a playoff team but I doubt they give up the picks to acquire him. I could see them trading some like Xavier Adibi or Jacoby Jones as part of a trade.

and to start the season, Richard Seymour was traded to the Raiders too, last wk, former first rounder Gaines Adams was traded to Chicago. A surprising amount of trades this season.

Would love to get Rogers. We need a DT badly. Huff could be a good addition to our secondary. What happened to Larry Johnson? It seems a few years ago he was tearing up the league with LT.

Shaun Rogers would be awesome to our D-Line. I wouldn't mind giving up a late round pick and Jacoby. I can't give up Adibi...

Larry Johnson could be a great short yardage back if you guys are struggling as badly with goal line and short yardage scenarios as some of you let on.
