Yeah the CAVS were th best defensie team in basketball an they beat them in he ECF. boston was the reigning hamps and they beat them in he 2nd Round. real easy. dwight is the best defensive player in the league.yao-only - fan boys are deluded now days
Lol are you kidding me? Those 2 series was so tight it could of gone either way but 2 players changed that series.......rashard and Hedo. If it wasn't for those 2, magics would of lost. Overrated....Dwight was part of a team that had many good players. He wasn't there leader, if anything it was Hedo being the best play maker on that team.
The Magic did two things very well last year -- defending, and shooting 3s. Howard was without question their best defensive player. As for shooting 3s, people underrate his impact in getting teammates open shots. When you have an athletic 7-footer who can catch and finish in traffic like him, that sinks in defenses and leaves a bunch of opportunities for teammates. Basketball-statistics.com presented some interesting evidence (here and here) recently to back that up.
where's dave78 coming in and saying yao as a professional should be able to keep a diet so he wouldn't gain weight? anyways, yao got HUGE. the light workouts and keeping him somewhat in shape but hopefully he doesn't balloon up.
I don't see what's wrong when he said yao is better basketball player than howard. If you ask me to chose a center to have for a playoff team this year I will chose Yao in a heart beat
ya I guess those late clutch shots by Rashard and Hedo didn't win the series and they were created by single coverage Dwight in the 4th quarter. Dwight 4th quarter offensive output is weak according to 82games.com. Like I said overrated, the man is good but he is far from being dominate when their own coach is asking Vince to dominate the game. You won't change my mind.
i will choose dwight howard in a milli-heart-beat yao ming will be out for the year before the playoffs even begin
Congrats he averaged that for 1 year.........I guess we shall assume its going to be the same every year......especially when he now has a real PF playing next to him vs Rashard Lewis.
yao at 29, 7 years into the league couldn't even get out of the 1st round without ron artest sad? oh btw, is yao playing this year?
