This, among other things, was way off base. Lots of stretching the truth for sake of comparison going on here.

Lowry and Duhon, for example, are far different in key areas. Duhon is a very good 3 point shooter. Lowry is not. Duhon is a calculating, pass first PG. Lowry is a bull in a China shop, drive it into the heart of the defense type of PG.

And since when is Duhon a backup for the Knicks?

The Knicks' horrific defense is a product of their "good" offense. It only makes sense that spreading the floor, sagging back for fastbreak opportunities, playing SF's at the 4 and more offensive players in general will create more offense. It also makes sense that it will hurt your defense.

The Rockets will not do that. We will play real bigs, yes small in stature, but still players who have spent most of their careers at the 4/5. I would say it's highly unlikely that we have an average or better offense if we still have a good defense. If we could pull that one off, I would question Yao's importance.

Can I be yet another voice that points out the small issue of Ming/McGrady?

Even without them I'll bet we beat the Knicks (we've won 3 from 6 in the pre-season you know...)

Of course we aren't the Knicks.

The Knicks have a loyal fanbase, known for their high energy and noise making.

Knicks is a solid rebuilding team with bright future. They def. On the right track to be a successful team. Except for that Jordan hill might just be a bust, as Yi dropped 21/11 on him today and Hill was nothing but SOFT... I mean u just can't be softer than Yi.

Horrible comparison !. Brooks is a way overall baskteball player than robinson. Scola is Better than Lee. I see how you MIGHT compare these players, but hell no we are not the knicks. You also missed a huge part in why we are better, and thats because we have ALOT more heart. We actually care about playing defense, and we are battle tested. Totally disagree.

Or worse, if we're making r****ded threads like this. At least the Knicks have a very strong and devoted fanbase that sticks through think and thin.

Joining in, what does dual threat mean? Harrington shoots more 3's in 1 single game than Landry has shot in his CAREER.

Then there's Larry Hughes, we got Jermaine Taylor. Who's better than Hughes, we know this

Don't forget that both teams have cancer SG's making huge salaries: Hughes/Tmac.

    Kidding, I still like Tmac.
