While I enjoyed the dunk fest tonight its worth noting that neither Dorsey or Pops have had good preason games to this point. To have both break out on the same night indicates to me that it might have been the softness of Toronto's backcourt more than anything. While I hope they have found thier niche, I'll reserve my judgement till we see some games.

    Go Rockets!

Hahaha, awesome... a highlight reel for Pops and the play that excited me the most was that beautiful pass from Budinger.

cbud looked like he knew how to pass the rock!

though the blocks and the dunks were sweet, i was more impressed with pops athleticism and emotion. this team will need both in large quantities this season.

    like... big time.

I like Pops a hell lot.

He is athletic, strong and appears to be quite a good defender. He isn't massive, but he is at least taller than Dorsey.

Seems like these three years the Rockets have always been blessed with a talented free agent/rookie. Let's aim to keep these players this time and not let them go.

    Go Morey!!.

Great game -- he's like Stromile Swift, minus the shooting touch but add a brain.

Love the pass by Chase, and the finish by Pops.....

And, I must say this thread looks much cleaner this morning for some reason.

then, i would rather take have-a-brain one than shooting one.

While Pops did a fine job, Chase Budinger was the real hero in a couple of those.

Pops brings that athleticism and energy to the court that we need. I like how aggressive he is too... he fits in well for the Rockets.
