Maybe it is because we don't have a regular rotation and play up to 14 players each?
Preseason is just an outlook. Does not matter who we win or lose against. EXPECT that we had the chance to win in those loses. We fought back and that is what we want to see. Never give in.

I think we needed a game like that. Defense really didn't matter tonight, we just had to get ourselvs fired up and that's a good way to do it.

Shane was unbelivable and he is gonna do that sometimes. I just hope he can be a 10+ scorer this season.

Why is the guy calling Shane "Theme Alert"?

 

because the theme of the night was Battier raining down 3's?

 

LoL. He's not calling him "theme alert". He's saying Shane hitting 3s is going to be this game's theme. So before every Shane 3, he says theme alert.

 

So am I the only one that wants to see Shane have a huge break out season way late in his career?

 

Yes you are. You don't judge player after just one PRESEASON game. It would be too easy.

And Shane has done it before.

 

I thought Yao didn't count towards the roster this year. That's why we got a disabled player exception. But as an astute poster mentioned earlier, Cook wasn't on this list, so it's still about one roster spot.

 

The disabled player exemption provided the team essentially with an additional MLE, not an additional roster spot.
