Im playing GREAT, first 2 games after summer league (A, A+). This mode is exciting. Hopefully, they fix some of the glitches in the game.

Man, I love the myplayer mode.

Being an SF is pretty tough, though. I'm at 49 overall now, and I'm starting on the Bulls. At 6'9 and 216, I'm pretty damn slow. I have a killer release though, and once I get the shooting stats through the roof I'm pretty sure I'll be scoring at will. I picked Martell Webster's release and it's pretty sick.

My friend is a scoring shooting guard and all he does is chill beside the PG and demand the ball. It's not as fun as it should be with him because he basically dominates the ball and decides what the offense does. With my SF (The Good Captain), I have to wait for Rose or Hinrich to start the play, set screens, etc, and I have to pick and choose when I release my J. It just seems like more fun when you have to fit in because it's more like real basketball.

I can't wait to play it again later!

After 15 games in the D-League, I was finally offered a 10-day contract with the Grizzlies.

I was averaging 15.3 points/game and had a teammate rating of A- in the D-League, but the key is running off a string of A+ or A games, and scoring over 20 points. I had 3 straight games with 20+ points and an A average, and I was signed right after.

    My player:

    6'5
    185 lb
All-Around (want to do a little of everything)

    Overall rating: 44-45

Summer league averages: (was with the Spurs)

    12.5 ppg
    1 rpg
    7 apg
    0.6 spg

Didn't play well enough to make that roster, but got the interest of about half the NBA. (Including the Rockets) Well, lol I obviously chose Houston and made it all the way through Training Camp w/ an A average and then got assigned to the D-League ( 66ers)

Played about 4-5 games with the 66ers w/ and A average. Stats:

    13.5 ppg
    2.5 rpg
    3.5 apg
    1.2 spg

Then, ironically the same Spurs team that cut me signed me to a 10 day contract! lol.

First game against Utah was a loss....missed a last second jumper that would have sent it into overtime. We got killed on D.

    Stats (NBA)

    9.0 ppg
    3.0 rpg
    6.0 apg
    1.0 spg
    1.0 bpg

I even got PT at crunch time!

In short, this mode is addictive. Hopefully I stick in S.A. :D

Just a quick question regarding My Player mode, not sure if it's a glitch or if I'm screwing something up.

I'm a 6'5'' Athletic SG (picked Athletic because those points seem to be the most expensive) and am very heavily defensive (Offensive 50/Defense 78/ Rebounding 47), though I have a decent jumper and passing, and when I selected to play PG, which I get a lot, can simply overpower the smaller PG's to the hoop.

Am currently with the 76ers as their starting SG, and just finished a game against the Hornets.... where Telfair never passed the goddamned ball. Ever. The entire game was Telfair being guarded by Paul, dribbling it for 17-23 seconds, and then heaving it to someone else so they could chuck something. It was incredibly bizarre, as it's around my eighth game with the 76ers and it's the first time it's happened, though admittedly none with a PG as good as Paul. Any idea?
On an aside note, I have no clue on how to call plays too.

How come nobody seems to make a Center in myplayer?

Is it harder to do well in that position?

Sounds like a glitch to me.

Were you repeatedly calling for the ball? If that fails, the easiest way to get the ball is to run directly up to the point guard, or any player, and stand right next to him and he'll literally hand you the ball.

I don't want to play with my back to the basket the entire game, and be forced to box out on every play.

It's definitely more challenging, but not as exciting. I prefer crossing a defender and driving in to the lane for a monster dunk.

I'm a 6'8" athletic center. I don't have any problem scoring, just rebounds and blocks since I'm so damn short. As a center I average 19.5 ppg, 3.4. RPG, 2.2 APG, 1.5 Spg. 69%FG since I play near the basket all the time.

I made the rockets from training camp!!. as a 6"8 rebounding PF. And i'm ahead of Dorsey and Pops in the rotation.

I averaged in the training camp with the Rockets:
    12 PPG
    9 RPG
    65% FG
    Teammate Average A+

I'm only shooting as a result of an offensive rebound or a good pass of a teammate. Mostly I'm setting picks, and work for position for the rebound.
The last day of training camp I destroyed Chuck, and they kept me.

I got the game, its the first 2k game i have ever purchased.

NBA 2k10, the graphics ars slick, but I dont care for the menu system, and the controls are a bit much.

    Baseless, come on, Baseless insults!

This simple equation may help you understand

    ________ is not a Rocket = I hate ______

Its very simple and works with almost anything

    in this case Kobe

Kobe is not a Rocket = I hate Kobe

Kevin Garnett is not a Rocket = I hate Kevin Garnett

This does not mean that ______ player isn't good, it just means we hate him because he is not a Rocket.

I hate Kobe, his arrogant demeanor, ridiculous facial gestures, past history with women, his ability to get every call known to man, and the fact that he knocked us out of the playoffs last season, but he's one of the few players in the NBA that I'd pay good money to go watch in action.

He's the greatest player of this decade, and he'll go down in the books as one of the greatest of all time. You've gotta respect the man's game. He's a baller.

Well that's strange...I just played against myself in my player...I got Drafted by Detroit but they ended up releasing me. I've been with the Blazers for a while now, and when we went to play the Pistons...there I was...guarding myself....

It's a bug that they're working on. A patch should be released soon.

Well, finally thought I'd give My Player Mode a try until Association is fixed. It's actually more fun then I thought.

I'm playing as a Pass First PG, around 5'7". 45 overall atm. It provides a unique challenge attempting to guard taller guards. I enjoy it. I'm also trying to strength my defense, mainly stealing and on-ball defense. Refuse to attempt a shot unless its on a fast-break or I'm really open. Averaging almost 10 assists a game, if I remember right. Gotta work on the reach-in fouls though.

Started off with the Timberwolves in the Summer League, but couldn't make the cut. Luckily, 29 other teams thought I was good enough, so I selected the Rockets. 2 games down, still with the Rox. Hoping I can make it, considering my competition is Chucky Atkins.

Am I the only one experiencing significant frame rate problems on the 2k10 for Xbox 360? Is there a fix?
