6'3'' 312 LB 3rd round pick from Alabama: Antoine
    Caldwell.

You drafted him to be the center of the future. The FUTURE IS NOW!

Is this a sign that he isn't capable of the duties as a rookie?

I mean they had Cushing starting from day 1 even before the roster was set, if Caldwell would have impressed the staff I'm sure the same deal would go for him..... right.

Does the Texan center direct the blocking schemes at the LoS?

Myers is a former Bronco, Kubiak would rather move him over to starting WR than bench him.

i heard on the radio that he's opening up a mcdonald's franchise, so people have noticed him working shifts at mcdonald's around town, because apparently if you want to open a franchise you have to go to a store and learn how to perform each task..

Myers is pathetic out there. We need a replacement.

Looks like Caldwell is going to play guard with Mike Briesel being hurt so Myers is our center for the near future.

Watching Myers get thrown around like a rag doll vs the Jets has been the most memorable play for me this season (even though AJ's TD while schooling 3 defenders last week is a close second).

Hopefully Caldwell is our guy for the future but since our OL has been mediocre at best so far this season, I'll respect Kubiak's decision not to start a rookie if he's not ready.

Myers is just too light in the seat to avoid getting blown up by the opposition's biggest defensive lineman each week. Who knows if Caldwell is indeed the answer or how he has been practicing but if he is not totally lost in practice I'd be willing to give him a look.

This was discussed on the radio with (I think) Eric Winston and I think it was said that the game is still too fast for him in practice and he's just not ready to play everyday.

Yeah it was either last week or the week before on Eric's show with 610. He mentioned that Caldwell is just not ready to play yet and that he still has a way's to go to become a professional. He said that he shows flashes in practice, but there are way too many mental lapses for him to be a regular on the field right now. He also talked about the speed of the game just being a little overwhelming for AC at this point. Eric Winston seemed pretty honest in his evaluation of Caldwell and I would say that his comments seem to reflect the coaching staff since we have yet to see him get any action depsite Myers' play.

Unless he's lost weight he's the same size as last year's pro bowl centers. Within 10# and 2" of each one, he's 6'4" 295, plenty big, he's just sucking.

Having seen Chris Myers without pads on, there is no way he is 295. I'm sure that's an inflated number they put on the official roster, just like NBA teams do with player heights. I'd say Myers is 275 max.
