http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/train...mnist=sheridan_chris&page=kevingarnett-091011 KG is so amazingly intense that he is able to dominate YI!! Stupid how he has to start these flings to get himself motivated. Similar to what he did with Scola last year. Funny thing is Yi had a pretty solid game, although KG did own him on the block a few times.
I'm going to laugh one day when someone beats his ass down and he injures himself again. What a little b****. Pick on Shaq, pick on Dwight, pick on Perkins. Why pick on Yi?
Because he can't do THIS to Shaq or Dwight. <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/M5n5WNmzfOo&hl=en&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/M5n5WNmzfOo&hl=en&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
No need to worry. Garnett just having his days. He checks on everybody who seems to be a challenge like an old stag challenging young rivals.
I don't know exactly but, I noticed something was going on between them but the camera panned out. I could tell they were getting pretty physical. They might have had some words but nothing major were they had to be separated.
I learned recently not to listen to anything KG says, inside his heart he's soft as pudding. His mom never taught him how to control the human tongue. Poor kid.
feel bad for yi, but only because of the way the media is portraying this story. he had a pretty solid game other than the 6 fouls (but with these refs, who knows whats going on).
Good. Yi needs his ass humbled. He needs to stop spending late nights in karaoke bars with pop singers and more time in the gym working on his game. If Yi had more dedication to his game, like some guy named Yao, he would get punked by a punk like KG.
He was doing that against Scola in a the second preseason game as well. And, well, it worked. He locked up Scola the one or two times he guarded him. When KG is healthy, and in "intensity" mode, he is without question the best defender in the league. Best defender of the decade, even.
The way the media portrays actions by certain players is the cause of much disdain from me. For example, this looks like KG is simply being a punk, but the media portrays it as intensity. Derek Fisher decks Scola in the playoffs, and the terrible announcers simply talk about how tough Fisher is.
Why is it considered picking on Yi? He's much closer to Yi and Scola's size than Shaq or Dwight's size.
go ahead and laugh but the Celtics are gonna be one of the best teams this year...AGAIN....and its all thanks to KG I am a huge rockets fan but ill say right now that i cant imagine anyone not liking KG and his passion for the game....not to mention that he will **** on most forwards and centers in the league...INCLUDING MY BOY SCOLA so you should calm down with laughing for any reason at one of the most dominant players in this era...he doesnt need any more motivation to go out and do what he does
I don't think anyone's doubting KG's abilities (except for well, his offensive game, but that he isn't a go-to threat has been so well established that it isn't even a topic of debate anymore). He's the greatest team defender of the modern era. And if he's healthy, the Celtics are probably the favorite. The disdain is for the antics which you confuse as "passion." Plenty of guys exude passion without the exaggerated theatrics to make us all aware of said passion. We get it, KG has passion. It's pretty telling though that the man only targets small guards and foreigners. Didn't look too tough in that clip with McDyess now did you, KG?
He's too chicken to even fight back when Anthony Peeler gives him an elbow. There was also that one with McDyess where he throws some punches but he's backpedaling like a sissy when he's doing it.
