Great analysis doctor. Because it's well known that a 13 year old girl's taste in men sets the precedent for what is hot, and what is not.
Based on their first 2 preseason games, I would say all of them because they have been playing with heart and commitment.
First, I meant no disrepect to you from the other post I made in vol.2 of this thread(feeling slightly guilty now). Second, I have freely acknowledged or agreed with a friend of mine that is a girl, that a guy was handsome before. However, freely expressing this amongst many other guys and constantly talking about it with other guys makes me feel queasy. I mean, this isn't something I would have a lengthy discussion about. It would be something more like, "Yeah, that's a good-looking guy", and that would be the end of it. So, I think guys may be ok with acknowledging that another male is empirically handsome, just as they may attest to the dapperness of a smooth suit. However, kicking it back and forth amongst each other, imo, wouldn't be something that would be solicited.
When he was a rookie some woman writer from a San Francisco newspaper wrote about how attractive he was, mentioned tall, muscular and his sense of humor so I can see what you're saying.
Sets the precedent? When did I say that? In fact, when does any demographic set the precedent for "attractiveness?" I simply used those girls, as well as what I hear at games, as examples that despite our views here at the GARM, Yao can be viewed as a decently attractive man by a portion of the population.
