Lord no, I am not saying there is a solution, but I don't think the Texans will win until they get more out of the QB position.....

yes, nothing to do with Schaub..

**** happens, he went Joe Montana on their ass for an entire half, you gotta expect a brain fart or two toward the end. He isn't a machine, he's a human being. he brought this team all the way back, made a questionable read on that INT, and then overthrew his receiver while going left (<--yes, hell of a difficult throw). I'll take two minor errors in a half of lights out playing.

the blame goes to questionable play calling by that idiot on the sidelines, especially on short yardage. what's easier than a QB sneak? a freaking pitch? why does he have to slam it up the middle with freaking Slaton or Brown? 3 times in a freaking row?

idiotic play calling, awful running game. AWFUL AWFUL luck as well, awful luck, my goodness do we have an awful luck.

It's me, I'm 100% sure it's me. The same crap happens to the aggies, and to the freaking rockets. we always get moral victories but never real victories. we're always so close but manage to blow it.

    Ags killed themselves against OSU
    Texans self destructed again
    another week in my life

when is this going to stop?

Look, the D played great in the 2nd half......very good....nice to see what they can do when they get proper rest....IE the offense stays on the field for more than 4 plays.

Texans sure have been getting a lot out of the QB position so far. Kind of hard to imagine any more, unless your QB's name has been Manning or Brees.

IF he does have the leadership he damn sure doesn't have the arm, escape ability, or red-zone efficiency to get the job done on a consistent basis.

Can you read proper english? He said Interior O-line, he said nothing about defense.

Come on, DD - you're being hypercritical here. He's got two things that keep him from being the elite, top of the draft QB. He's not the most nimble and he doesn't have a plus arm. If he had those two traits, he wouldn't have been available to obtain via trade (trading for a Jay Cutler is the exception, not the norm). Other than that, he's more than adequate - especially in this system, which is based on a rhythm passing attack. I'm not sure why they're not rolling Schaub out more, but I'd guess that has to do more with the lack of a credible running game than on Schaub.

It's unfortunate, one of his knocks ended up costing us a late TD, but that's the way it goes sometimes when teams know you're going to pass.

I bet he hits that throw 95+% of the time, just executed the play poorly today.

Please no Grossman. The QB position is not the problem. They need to figure out what the F is wrong with the running game. The running game needs to take some pressure off the passing game.

I'm not gonna blame this loss on any one player. Nothing before that last play matters at that point. YOU GET THE DAMN BALL IN THE END ZONE NO MATTER WHAT!!!!!!!!!

DD Shaub is not a super bowl caliber quarterback. But he is the right quarterback for this team because we are not nowhere near that type of team. He needed to execute better today though.

Go look where he ranks in fantasy points after this game. He is far from average.

Who would you like to replace him with man? Tell me. Obviously, we aren't going to draft a QB bc we have more pressing needs.

He isn't accurate? He was 35/50 today, which equates to 70 %.

They weren't minor errors dude. They were gigantic errors and ultimately that's why we lost the game.

You guys arguing about leadership this and mobility that I don't see how it really matters. The simple fact is there isn't a single aspect of this team that doesn't take turns sucking.

Whose fault is it that we couldn't stop Warner and let them put up 21 on us in the first half?

Whose fault is it that we couldn't move the ball the entire first half?

Whose fault is it we can't run the ball for ****?

Whose fault is it we can't get 1 yard in three tries?

Whose fault is it we tried to power the football in with Chris Brown to win?

Whose fault is it we can't hit a wide open receiver in the back of the end zone?

When everyone takes time to suck during the game, who do you blame?

Its Shaub's fault. Even though he played as well as Hall of Famer Kurt Warner, he didnt deliver when needed. Yeah its dumb, Eli Manning can have a 20 QB rating in the first 3 quarters and still be the "Comeback Kid", but thats how it goes.

We need a new center, the ones we have get no push. Short yardage was something that was supposed to be fixed coming into thise season, yet it kills us once again. This game was right there for the taking and the same story unfolds. I'm not even angry anymore.

im not sure a qb sneak wouldve worked on that last play given the OL was destroyed.
