Who do you think will end up being the better player; Yao Ming or Eddie Griffin?

ok so there are a lot of new posters, and many of these thread titles, and threads for that matter, are ridiculous. We're the greatest fan site in the world, shouldnt increasing membership be expected? Many of these newbies might be bandwagon jumpers due to our new crop of young studs, but the fact is, theyre Rocket fans, and the more the merrier, so welcome =)

Hey, new posters are encouraged! :) Welcome avn81!

Just understand that this board isn't like the ESPN boards or a lot of other boards on the net. We'd like to know what you thing about Eddie Griffin and Yao Ming. Who you thing is going to be better, and why, etc. That way we can feel like we're having some kind of productive conversation.

    :)

I would go with Eddie Griffin for longevity reasons. I think Eddie Will be better for longer. The height of Yao will hurt him long term in my opinion. I love the pick, but I think that Eddie has those intangibles that make him a great player. One of those being improvement in the off season. Ultimately, I think Eddie's best season will be better than Yao's best season. IOW, Eddie! Eddie!

I'm going with EG also. The man has more talent than Ming and he is going to be a very special player. In a couple of years Ming is going to be to EG what Sampson was to Olajuwon.

New Posters remind me of when a friend of yours
gets on the internet for the 1st time

They learn to E-mail and Surf.

and you get to get ALL THE INTERNET HOAXES
    allll over again . . . . It's like watching a child grow up.

"No baby, You don't need to delete that Teddy bear Icon . . "

"The guy in Las Vegas who had his Kidney stole . . . didn't happen.."

    Welcome,

And to answer your questions...Yao Ming will be better, EG has never shot 72%, not even in Jr. High.

    :)

I think they will both be very good players.
