If LSU had any type of offense that might have won this game....only giving up 13 points at home and you can only answer with 3 points. Just simply horrible execution or too much pulling back on Jefferson. If you aren't going to let your starter go for big plays then you should start the stud freshmen Sheppard. So frustrating as a LSU fan.
I've seriously never wanted to punch an announcer/analyst in the face as much as I want to with Gary Danielson right now. What a complete buffoon.
THROW THE ****ING BALL YOU FREAKING IDIOT I've never been more appalled watching a game in my life. I'd hope every freshman-level QB in high school could figure out that you ABSOLUTELY CANNOT TAKE A SACK in that situation, and Jefferson has done it TWICE. I don't care if no one is open. Just lob it -- at least give yourself a chance!
dude, you can rush one guy and Jefferson will hold the ball until that one guy eventually finds him. He's that bad.
I don't think you guys are giving the Fla defense enough credit while complaining about the lack of O from LSU. Fla has all defensive starters returning from last season, 2 deep.
This is no different than what happens every week, honestly. Only difference is Florida's offense takes so much time off the clock that there hasn't been time for LSU to eventually hit one big play. (Also the fact that Les Miles' balls uncharacteristically shrunk on 4th and goal from the 1.) The rush hasn't gotten to Jefferson abnormally quickly -- he just doesn't get rid of it. It should be a crime for a coach as bad as Les Miles to have a national title. He's truly awful.
You know I will. I don't think Alabama can score on Florida. The only problem is that I don't think Florida can score much on Alabama. I could see this score being 3-0 or something crazy like that.
I agree. Especially after OU takes out Texas next week, there won't be much of an argument who is #1 and #2.
Like last year, the SEC championship game will decide the national champion. I'm not yet willing to say Alabama will win it because of Florida's defense. And count me in with those who think UT could lose to OU next week.
