Been traveling most of the day...

I didn't even realize he was nominated. I also don't think he's done enough to justify a win... except as others have said, not be W and actually start talking about important things to the world. It seems thin to me.

Still, it's cool a US President won... first sitting since Woodrow... which gives me more of a pause... League of Nations vs. restoring basic diplomacy... man, W really lowered the bar for everybody.

Primarily due to most of you being idiots.

Obama is doing well, so far.

Yet you all expect a "Muppet Movie" ending immediately.

Quite sad. Quit being bitter. Life is too short.

My opinion of a democrats paradise:

even if you think obama has done 'well,' it doesnt warrant a nobel prize. you could close your eyes and point at the list of candidates and come up with someone more deserving.

I will say this about Mr. Obama. He will have a VERY lucrative career on the speech circuit after his presidency. That's not a slam, just an observation.

Mistake to give it tio him. It seems that most Obama supporters here even feel that way.

Who really cars though? I hope some conservatives don't make this into a big deal.

Quite a Palin'esque performance you're putting on lately.

Fatty does tend to use complete sentences though. His shifts (e.g. you are happy-happy muppets like Kermit! No, I mean you are bitter!) at least inhabit adjacent sentences, instead of the same utterance, as with Palin.

Maybe she is exempt since she only very rarely uses a sentence.

You mean obsessed with being "green"? (puke)

    I think its more like:

    <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/td1KAgrYUGA&hl=en&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/td1KAgrYUGA&hl=en&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

    mixed with :

    <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/L_Z3iu5pWVI&hl=en&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/L_Z3iu5pWVI&hl=en&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

    add a bunch more white:

If you don't think he deserves it fine, obviously their are those who are happy with the result. IMO comparing Obama to the other two sitting presidents is like comparing Montana, Jim Kelly, and Warren Moon, they all got to the Hall Of Fame different ways because of different reasons. I wonder what does that say about a person when he wants Obama to fail so badly, that he wakes up angry the next day because Obama was choosen for this award?

I am not inclined to read about the other finalists, nor badger Obama for being selected. Good for him. Perhaps this will further his abilities to get things done for the better good of the country.

And I got bigger problems even regarding Barack Obama than him winning a nobel prize or not. Non-issue for this conservative.

Again, I don't think anyone is bashing Obama personally, he had nothing to do with the results of the award, people are simply questioning his merit. It's not an "issue," but rather just a curiosity. If anything, people are bashing the Nobel committee or whatever they call themselves

Huh? All I did was post a link to what the fishermen were saying about this and you went off like this? Wow. And for the record, I've never posted in the What's in my Cd player thread. If you can prove so, I'll paypal you $500. You're clearly 1) Drinking alcohol again and posting, 2) A Liar, 3) Got dumped by your ex for being 38 and having a neon budweiser sign in your crib.

I hope Obama wins Man of the Year, an Oscar, a Grammy, the lottery, and any other award that will continue sending these folks into their little tizzy.

    I am enjoying it.

I heard they're considering adding his face to Mt. Rushmore.

that's fine, but don't question the merit decision by quoting terrorist organizations like the Taliban or Hamas to prove your point
