I don't know why people keep putting these threads in here. Far less people view this forum as they do the hangout, you'd think they'd want maximum exposure and discussion.
Anthony Dixon could have 300 yards rushing versus this terrible Cougars defense. But I still think the Cougars will win it because Tyson Lee is the worst QB I have seen this year.
I think that title belongs to ryan17wagner. Seeing as how the UH/TTU thread had almost 50 pages, I think there's plenty of other Cougar fans out there who can start threads as well.

Say what you want. We blew it. That said, this thread is really sad. I mean, my Tech boys are disgusted, but we're not apathetic. After one bad game against UTEP did all the UH fans disappear again? You aren't one of them, Donny. I'll give you and Mattj that. But you have to admit, it is a college that tends to cheer for other (cough) UT (cough) colleges. A shame, actually. As I said, unless it is against us, I want UH success; mainly for the t shirt fan.
Gotta stop the run....I am worried that maybe we lucked out in getting Tech that is gonna pass no matter what because that is their identity. I don't know what happened last week..I am hoping it was a lapse and not just a particularly glaring weakness.
FFB, I agree with the apathy argument (ive dealt with it for as long as I've been a Coog), but I don't get ur whole UT thing. I know about maybe 2 people that root for UT actively while being exclusively associated with UH. You make it sound like we all run around yelling "Texas Fight!" Such is not the case.
Fair enough, but I'll say I've seen 50% of UH grads I know cheer for UT. Of course it isn't the juggernaut SWT wher 99.9% of folks there cheer that team. If the school didn't let you in, why are you cheering for them? Quite frankly, it reminds me of Boy who grew up in Houston but is a Cowboy fan because they won more. Ironically, because you don't have to "earn" being a fan of an NFL team, they look even more pathetic. And, yes. Most UT alums (LOL, even though they tend to not hate bandwagoners. After all, it is their team you're rooting for.) Look upon t shirts as bandwagoners. After all, if Texas State was suddenly a juggernaut in the standings for decades, wouldn't you be a little pissed that Blinn college had amassed 25,000 students that couldn't get into SWT? (Sorry. I have to enjoy that belittling comment about the pathetic Bobcats. Sorry, SWT: Every stinking one of you who is a UT fan went there because NOT ONLY were your high school grades up to snuff initially, BUT YOU CONTINUED to be average enough for UT to decline you for transferring. Believe me. I've known a ton of you. Which is why you continually being a fan of a team from a college THAT REJECTED YOU AT LEAST TWICE is so perplexing. One of you should write a book.
