exactly. I would be realllyyy happy if he becomes half as good as Okur is now..

Okur is dirty. but definitely effective..dude can shut down Yao one on one..

I love the music as their going into commercials.. Thats Hilarious.. Im from the Valley so that music fits us perfect. Obviously because most of the people that live in the Valley like myself, are hispanic. Anyway I love the fact that the Houston Rockets are trying to appeal to more people down here. Im tired of this being Spurs country.

Good game for Andersen. He looked like he was not hesitating to let that jumper fly last night. I think as the season goes on we will see more and more of that from him. It will make his defender have to come out and guard that.

He looks like Harry Connick Jr to me.....

Oh damn, his middle name reminds me of a certain power forward that shot 0 for 9 in Game 7 of Round 1 with Utah a few years back......

Jump shot looks good. A bit bothered for the lack of actual inside moves and actually going hard to the rack. He does after all play center.

I noticed he's not shy to take shots and that is the best way to get out of a shooting slump, he was just nervous the first game since he's having to fill in Yaos shoes. Now that his shots went down I believe he'll turn out to be a good addition to the team.

Andersen isn't a traditional center that thrives in the low post. Although he does have a few moves down low, it's his perimeter and mid-range game that make him effective.

He's kind of like Andrea Bargnani.

Yeah, the only way Okur ever "shut-down" Yao was by fouling him continuously from the tip so that the refs wouldnt call all the fouls... If Yao played Okur with 'real' refs calling 'actual' fouls... Yao would have 30pts by the time Okur had 6 fouls... and 60 pts by the end of the game :)
