Rondo will probably command somewhere around 8-11 million a year.

wow, NBA LP channel (561) is showing the Rocket game right now :D I wish I had known it before the fourth quater. Anyhow, I think I am catching the best part of the game ... it's a only a three point game right now ... :)

Also he declined a extension, that tells you he(rondo) is expecting a Payday come next offseason.

How much did the Celtics offer?
Probably not much, considering they have to pay 3 perennial All-Stars plus Big baby(who thinks he's deserving of big money)

wow.. 9 total team assists... 18 TOs...

    AND 35 Personal Fouls????

For those who are watching the game, how many of those fouls do you think are legitimate fouls?

If the replacement refs are foul-calling-happy then I guess a lot of players will average 10+ Free Throw Attempts this season

There are clearly some folks here who should be hitting the books and doing their homework rather than wasting time with preseason basketball games, right?

I'm not sure how much they offered. Rondo is no slouch though. Everytime one of those big 3 players goes out all he does is produce in their absence. Triple doubles and his defensive reputation is among the elite.

I'm looking at teams who really need a PG...or atleast a upgrade.

Atlanta, Indiana, NYK, 6ers, Toronto (Calderon isn't all that.)

I think he is a RFA, but once he hits UFA I'm sure he's going to get more than MLE and that will probably be more than we will want to offer.

Sweetney is a classic example of a guy that didn't take his career serious. As a undersized guy he was a natural back to the basket but couldn't push away from the table. So sad.

I think this is the classic case of just taking advantage of the power you have just been given.

These refs are really excited to call a NBA game obviously.
