    haha!! hoa hoa's and texadelphia on the drag back in my day were under $5. ate there ALL the time!!! glad they are still doing well. back then an espresso rocket shake from METRO was $2.25. miss those days!!!

    Sonic Happy Hour drinks is my fave. Route 44 strawberry limeade $1.02 :D

    Oh, another one I forgot to mention. Taco Cabana used to have 2 tacos, chips, queso and a drink for $2.99. Now I think the best you can get is 2 tacos (only bean and cheese), chips, queso and a drink for $3.99.

    Well you can always go down the route I took. I went on Ebay and bought 10 coupons for a free salad or sandwich at Potbelly for $25.00. So roughly, $2.50 per salad/sandwich.

    Chick-Fil-A Water & Fruit Cup

    Taco Bell Fruitisa Freeze Drink

    Chick-Fil-A Chicken Sandwich Meals

    I'm sure there's plenty of other good ones, these were just some of the first ones I came across. This is a great way to save money if you don't mind going to the same place a few times.

    In Midtown practically any Vietnamese sandwich joint will give you a great sandwich for less than $3. Cali (Travis and Elgin) is probably the best with their grilled pork sandwich. Or just go for the rice w/pork for $6.
