Seeing how the team played during preseason with out Tracy or Yao, what are your predictions for them? Any expectations?

    - How was David Andersen?

    - I think this is a young team that will formulate well with Yao and Tracy ( when they're healthy)

This thread would best be suited for after the last game of the preseason.

Andersen looks like he doesn't like physical contact

Doesn't really have a nose for rebounds, doesnt go after them
but we should give him more time to adjust agianst other nba players

I give him a D+ on his performance tonight

Sounds pretty accurate, but I still give him a pass. It's his first NBA game, played extended minutes, and committed the typical blunders of Euroleague players. He'll smooth out and at that point will I make judgement.

His has no defensive skill at all which is understandable coming from euro league. His rebounding skill is below average mainly his frame is small to box out and put himself in position to rebound. One thing he does have going for him is his shooting ability which is above average for a big man but he has no low post moves at all and finishing around the basket is going to be a huge problem I think. Also, factor in the adjustment period from euro ball to the NBA.

    D+ is being too kind.

His performance tonight was a flat out "F". He basically is just a tall guy who likes to shoot the ball from outside. He got raped repeatedly on the defensive end. In a real NBA game he might foul out in about 10 min.

the team looks okay..one game doesnt really show anything, but anybody would have to be foolish to think that having the rocket's best players out as a good thing is gonna help them.
