Both vids were cool to watch. You can see he likes his fans and loves to give back. Part of me misses him on this team part of me doesn't though.

I predict the combo or Ron Ron and Hollywood is unavoidable. He's going to have a show on Fx or Vh1 in a year. IT will be the weirdest show ever.

It can't be worse than that Eddie Griffin show they have now.

Artest might be a little misguided on the court, but he sure knows how to treat his fans. It seems like he's always chilling with the pinoys, which is awesome! Hope he has a good year.

Why do you guys expect to see a well educated and speaking BASKETBALL PLAYER? He is not suppose to teach us English 101..It doesn't matter what he says or how stupid he says it. Same goes for any other pro athlete. He's making millions being a so called "idiot" because he's the best at what he does. I WISH the Rockets still had a player as interactive as Ron. It was fun seeing things behind the scenes, beyond the court. I doubt we'll ever see Tmac giving the fans a peek into his crib....maybe if it was sponsored by adidas.

Well lack of self control and maturity are pretty seminal things. Artest even at his best possible behavior in the playoffs last year had problems controlling himself versus Kobe and decision making on offense versus the Lakers.

What you've seen in the past couple of years is that there are some athletes who simply come across better in new media, Artest is one Ochocinco is another. These are players who seem to have an extra-ordinary need to not only publicize themselves but have control of how they're portrayed. A lot of what Artest and his supporters have said all along is how the media didn't get Artest or didn't portray him correctly. Artest has a history of dramatic and even seemingly non-sequitor statements which can come across as inane or random in the Press but folded into a rambling 5 minute youtube video where fans can make an emotional connection it seems less stupid.

In turn having that outlet where he can control his own image seems to have mollified Artest (feel less persecuted or misunderstood) which seems to also have an impact how he conducts himself professionally.

It seems like a beautiful time in Artest's life, with him moving to LA and being able to play ball and promote his business. It's cool how he loves Scola (recognizing that like Artest himself, Scola leaves it all on the court). Best wishes for Ron moving forward.
