    I was up by 19 points halfway through the 3rd quarter of this game, with the other person only having Rivers and the Chargers D left.

    No Polamalu to cover the TE. Overall the D played okay, but the last 2 drives have been dreadful. Still only 250 total yards allowed thru 58 minutes, but those last 2 drives looked bad for the Steelers.

    I have a headache....please just put this team away so I can NOT think about this for the next week!!

    P.S. Antonio Gates is the latest beneficiary of the "Troy Effect". Trust me, he wasn't so great last year with Troy checking him! He can't come back soon enough.

    All I gotta say is San Francisco's Defense (3 TDs and a shutout) is the new Ravens D and Patrick Willis is the new Ray Lewis. If it wasn't for that miracle throw from Favre they would be 4-0 righ tnow.

    That is amazing to think about. I saw Singletary's infamous press conference live last season as it happened, and the first thing that came to my mind is he OBVIOUSLY won't be made the full-time coach. All I can say is congrats to him and the 49ers for such a stellar start and I wish them the very best. What a story.

    St. Louis is the worst team in the NFL... don't anoint them just yet.

    a 3 point loss to minnesota is their "best win" so far having beat the hapless NFC West... Seattle, Arizona (which looks to be pretty bad so far), and St. Louis...
