I live in Colorado and they play a lot of AFC west games here. I have caught at least 2 of the raider games this year, maybe all 3, I'm not sure. But one thing I can guarantee is that Heywar-Bey is never gonna even be a Devin Hester. He has terrible hands, just terrible and he cannot run a route to save his life. Their other rookie, Murphy has impressed me much more.

A lot of people thought Murphy was the best WR in the upcoming draft before he had a somewhat underwhelming season at Florida. He's certainly shown a knack for making big plays, but he needs to learn to tuck the football. He had like 3 fumbles in the preseason game vs New Orleans.

That is what continues to blow my mind. The Raiders' drafts lately have produced plenty of later round success stories... but they can't get a 1st round pick right to save their lives.

This is why I didn't mind them shipping off a future pick for Rich Seymour.

I know everybody hates Bud Adams, but as an owner he's better than Al Davis, he let's his football people do the football work and has stability in the coaching staff.

Plus the retro Oilers unis > Texans/Titans unis

Saying an owner is better than Al Davis isn't saying much.

Nice read, Moe. Good matchup. But look like Walter and OD will get plenty catches. Bet Schaub won't go to Johnson more than couple times.

I see no reason why the Texans should not be 8 in the box on most plays and blitzing like mad in passing situations. If Oakland is going to beat you, you make them do it with Jemarcus throwing the ball; you stuff the box so full of defenders that running becomes impossible and make them beat you over the top.

don't know where to mention this, but apparently Anthony Hill (Rookie TE of Texans) was diagnosed with swin flu.

Hill's sickness is said not to be a big deal, but I hope that it doesn't hold back his development. The fact is he is meant to be our blocking TE of the future and I hope he turns up as such.

Onto the game, the defense has got to step up, especially the DTs and safeties. Despite Diles playing well, I wonder if they will try out Adibi on 3rd downs during blitzes. I'd prefer having him out there then always putting Barwin out there on 3rd and 'x', even when 'x' is just 4 yards.

The reason we should not be 8 in the box is because we should stack 9!! we will need at least that much help to stop their running game.

even as bad as our corners are, we still just have to let them play man and watch jamarcus miss them and his wr by 12 yards

Hopefully we can hold the Raiders to less than 300 yards rushing.
