    classic misuse of statistics. there are A LOT of things that you can run a model and built some sort of "correlation". it doesn't mean one causes another. i remember when i was in school and ran some model that showed smoking was good for a normal heart rate or something like that (don't remember). unless you can establish a direction connection between these, it's just BS. at most, it something else that associates with eatting candy that are causing the crimes. nothing to do with candy itself.
