i was wondering if the rockets summer leauge games or any other summer leauge games are going to be on TV. i am in need of a basketball fix. months still to go before season and i wanna watch any kind of basketball games possible.
Correct me if I am wrong but last year didn't ESPN televise some summer league games? I am pretty sure they did, one of which was a Rockets game. Anyone know if they are doing it again this year? Any ideas of which current Rockets will be on the summer league team? Chris
I thought that ESPN televised the Rocky Mountain review which starts next month( I think). The LA summer leagues I do not believe was televised.
They've televised games from the RMR and the league that runs up in the northeast - the name escapes me. But anyway, they haven't televised the games from LA for the past couple of years at least.
The RMR starts the latter half of this month. The Dada Summer Pro League in Long Beach starts on the 7th.
ESPN did cover some summer league games but damn if you couldn't get them to stop talking long enough to show the game... out of about 30 minutes of game footage 27 minutes of it was talking and interviews from players on the bench.. it was really PATHETIC!
Exact dates : Rocky Mountain Revue : July 19 - July 27 in Salt Lake City, Utah. (Rockets won't be playing in this) Dada Summer Pro League : July 7 - July 21 in Long Beach, California. (Rockets will be playing in this)
Ah, now I remember! I remember watching the Rockets summer league game last year and they had all of these stupid interviews, They would even SHOW the interview while the game was going on and you would miss the game action! I remember that. That was horrible! Still, ANY game action on TV is better than none! Chris
have the rockets released thier roster for the summer league yet? if so can someone list the players or show a link
NO...I looked it up, no games from LA will be televised...sucks, huh? Maybe LAgreatestfan or whatever his name was, will write those really long one paragraph summaries that were great...Are you out there man???
hehe, not to rub it in, but I'm based in LA so I can watch most of the games! :-D although this is only one of the few times I get to watch the Rockets ever. :-( aargh!
The worst part was that the interviews were with Rusty LaRue. Who the **** gives a **** about Rusty LaRue?
