I mean he comes from a good program, is 6'6" tall, and can shoot, rebound and defend. I like him at number 9, he could be a contributor right away. Thoughts? DaDakota ------------------
No, i think mo pete or miller or dermarr johnson will be available at #9, and i would take all 3 over carawell. All 3 are just as athletic and at least 2 inches taller. ------------------ "Don't they get cable in Canada ?" Keith olbermann, after watching hakeem block terry catledge's shot 5 times.
no. no. no. carrawell is tremendously overrated. his shot and his driving ability are adequate, but nowhere near lottery material. miles. miles. miles. future. future. future. ------------------ miles ahead of the rest
I posted this a few weeks ago but I will tell you'll again. Jim Boylan was on the radio a few weeks ago and somebody called in and asked him about what he thought of Carawell. He said he doesn't get to see much of the college players with the obligations of his job to the pro game but said that one of the Rockets scouts likes him. The scout was one of the top 2 scouts in the orginization. Anyways the scout, whose name I forget saw Carawell as a 2 guard with decent enough ball handeling skills to go over and sometimes play the PG position. That being said they did not think he would not be an upgrade over Mobely and hence they would not be drafting him. Also mention look for them to select a big man. ------------------
