if there were a group of guys to stick in this position, its these guys.
they are are absolutely itching to do this.
i think they'll pull it off. i think they make the playoffs and then some.

We're just becoming more of an Adelman-type team. If anyone can find a way to make this combination of players work, it is RA. The pessimistic comments being made here are great reasons we couldn't succeed in the playoffs. But to make it to the party, you just have to be a little better than the 7 worst teams. I feel confident we'll make it. I also feel confident we won't get out of the first round, but hey, with our injury luck, that'll make me pretty happy...

I'm as much of a fan of the "team, everybody's a star" concept as anybody, but I also believe you need atleast one go-to, dynamic scorer who can score inside and out. Preferably two.

I don't see that scorer on this roster, and I'm not about to just hand McGrady that baton. We have players who can score in different ways, but whether or not they can do it consistently, effectively, and, more importantly, when it matters most (the fourth quarter) is a huge concern.

Just play how we played against the Lakers when we won those two games without Yao or Tracy in the playoffs earlier this year. Top scorers for Houston in those games are still on the team, Brooks and Scola.
