Because they need *something*... geez... I'm all for giving 'em at least a day. Anyway, Happy Canada Day. Go Canadianing or whatever it is you guys do.
For some reason Canadians don't like me telling them that the only thing that keeps Mexico from taking over Canada is us Texans
Bob: Happy Canadian Day, eh? Doug: Shut up you hoser... Bob: No way, eh...I'm gonna tell Dad you took his last beer... Doug: No way, eh!
A-Train -- 'nuff said! Happy Canada Day to all who celebrate...particularly to my friend, Grizzled! Have a great day, eh!
I was reading Marcel Proust's Remembrance of Things Past and he says of one his characters that he had hair in the style of X -- with X being a person's name I can't remember anymore. Anyway, it had a footnote, which said that X was a famous theatre actor from the 19th century (I believe) in France who wore his hair short in the front and long in the back. So -- I'm ashamed to say -- France might be the actual birthplace of the mullet, depending on how long Canadians and rednecks have been wearing it like that.
Well thank you Jeff and all! That’s mighty neighbourly of you. We’re 135 years young today! And a beautiful day it is, in the foothills of the Canadian Rockies . Who are these silly Canadians? Glad you asked Rimbaud! While many Texans may not know much about Canada, and perhaps think about us primarily as a good source of hockey players, we are much more than that. There are Canadians all around you, and among you … http://schwinger.harvard.edu/~terning/Canadians/main.html (you beat me to it rockhead) So what is this country about, this country that produces all these great people? If a picture is worth a thousand words, here is a short essay on my city (and Azim da Dream’s home town) on my nation’s birthday. … and there are so many more.
