Maybe we should trade with the Thunder given that they currently have the Phx. Sun's 2010 unprotected draft pick, and there's a big chance that they will suck this year if they trade Amare and Nash........ Plus the thunder feel that they are close to making the playoffs all they need is a vet. like Shane Battier, so maybe a trade can be worked out, as long as we get that pick from the Suns... -rocketblaze
I like it, but... the Bulls are in pretty good shape cap wise for the '10 offseason if they let Miller expire. I don't know what their specific plans are in terms of free agency, but I doubt they'll commit salary to Battier when they have the untradeable Luol Deng locked up in a huge contract. I do think it is a given that Morey will find a way to get an expiring + low draft pick for Battier as the trade deadline approaches.
I would think the Bulls would go in the opposite direction, ensure they have cap space to go after hometown boy Dwayne Wade next summer. Although we could use Miller at center, and maybe even TThomas's shot blocking, and Hinrich's defense and real point guard-ism.
Perfect Von Wafer surrogate. He'll probably only be on board for 1 year unless he fixes his attitude. Most likely he'll end up like Wafer tho...
This is at least not bad. Without Yao, we will need people who can score, we already has people who hustle and who defend, but I feel we still need some scoring options when tmac(assume he comes back early in the season), brooks are cold.
How much you want to bet? That guy is a superstar waiting to bust out... Sure, he has had some immaturity problems, but he still has loving parents and all... Eddie was in a completely different situation. Even still, that is one of the only guys with superstar potential that we could maybe get for a Shane-Landry-Brooks type deal... I see BIG things coming from Beezy in the future, despite his current problems...

I hope they give McCants the 2 spot and 35 mins a game, he averaged 10 in 19. Ariza can man the three, say goodbye to Tracy McGrady I have a gut feeling he will be traded. If the return is right I say let Battier go and allow Ariza to completely take over that role and some. Perhaps Landry will be traded as well and replaced by the better rebounder Pops. 1. A. Brooks, Lowry (player from trade) 2. R. McCants, Ariza, Taylor 3. Ariza, Budinger (player from trade) 4. Scola, Bonsu, Dorsey 5. Yao (when healthy), Andersen, Dorsey (player from trade)
I don't know. I see Beasley being more of a tier-3 star. He's good... but I don't see the potential to carry him to being a Superstar.
I really like this signing...machants can really play. Just wondering...I personally don't think he will just be a training camp body. I feel that he is 'too' good...would that mean morey have a trade in mind with our current 2/3 spots? Tmac, Shane?
I keep telling myself that the Texans don't suck. However, I always seem to end up disappointed like today.
A lot of positives. Slaton got back on track and Walter just knows how to move the sticks. We'll get a W next week and then go on the road for huge games. Games that are winnable. Btw, I can't believe how close we are to having the Rockets back in our lives
This is kind of like a big deal....i like this move very much so...I was looking at he gaping hole in the 2 guard spot and was wondering if Morey was gonna make a move. The official Von replacer!
Maybe Taylor or Budinger part of a deal!!!.....and Hopefully Cook and Barry can be included!!! -rocketblaze
