Just got back from the game.

    Absolutely pathetic.

I realized that Potts will NEVER throw to his left. The fact that I saw this leads me to believe others noticed as well.

We had two very costly fumbles. Again, that happens, but both were pathetic.

Say what you want, but when I saw Leach run on FIRST and goal I looked at my brother and said "quit running it, already?!? We're not a running team!"

Leach then decides to run it ON ALL FOUR DOWNS!

UH wasn't impressive at all tonight. Tech just screwed up far more times.

This wasn't about a winner. Tonight we just sucked more.

I'll be at Tailgate for the Texans game tomorrow. You're more than welcome to throw an egg at me if you'd like. I know the owner. He'll be fine with it.

    Just a pathetic, pathetic game.

Tech was gouging the middle of the defense all night with their running game, thats what made that goal-line stand all the more epic.

It isn't our system, and when the other team stops you from getting 6 yards the first three times, you kick or at least pass. My point was every run ruined a pass play.

I've seen Leach do this before, and he only does it when he doesn't have confidence. He doesn't have confidence in Potts.

Ok good another reason I'm glad she lost to President Bush. Karma rules.

I remember the first time paying attention to UH football, twas that highly anticipated matchup versus Miami in September 1991, and lord I was bummed after the subsequent shellacking. Although back then I could take solace in our professional football team.

So now I'm really excited after tonight's UH win, but I'm not sure what to make of the team in terms of national picture. I mean suppose UH is standing at the end as one of two or even THE only undefeated team....does a place in the title game become possible in that scenario, I mean I hope that's the end result.

So UH stood up to Tech, in a stadium filled with half of their fans, after maybe being rusty with the bye week. Tech hung with UT pretty well last week, and UH shredded that OSU defense at times. The nature of college ball leads to these type of comparison makings.

I know we should take it week by week, and I will enjoy this national ranking after every (hopeful) win, but I'm putting myself as one who wants these guys to be playing in the 2nd week of January.

    Wow. What if....

It was one of those games. Tech could have put them away so many times and just couldn't pull the trigger.

The biggest fail was clock management.

Not having timeouts at the end to get into FG position really bit them in the ass.

The two defensive timeouts in the 2nd half were stupid. It's justice that Tech got bit at the end not having them.

The Tech players and coaches will be kicking themselves all the way back to Lubbock. This loss (and the one at UT) were heartbreaking. I thought the game was over at 21-10.

Oh yeah, it was great to see Dream there supporting the Coogs.

As for the rushing the field thing... seemed a little dumb, I mean we were ranked ahead of them and its at home... but I understand those who did. Its a huge win for the program.

I don't think the game was ever really in question for UT, though.

    Rushing the field seemed odd.

It was fun to watch that. Great for the city of Houston.

I would love for the Coogs to maintain this momentum.

Case Keenum is really good. His movement in the pocket, his passing, his running game... it's what kept UH in this game despite terrible defense and missed opportunities. If UH were to make it to a BCS bowl game, I don't see what would stop them from repeating the other UH's (Hawaii) performance in the sugar bowl and getting blown out by a physical defensive and offensive line.

Also, what separates guys like Case Keenum and Colt Brennan from guys like Colt McCoy and Tim Tebow who play for big universities and are projected to do well in the NFL?

Yeah, I mean the first half was definitely unconventional, at least to what the expectations for the game were, but UT was never in any danger of losing.

How well are McCoy and Tebow projected to do in the NFL?

You're bitter. Excuse of a QB? The same excuse of a QB who shredded OSU's defense and the same excuse who put up the numbers he did last season?

The national folks probably don't understand the celebration and all but this is a hell of a win for the program itself. Now we need to continue winning games and hopefully not run into a roadblock by losing to a team this season. Expectations are at running the table. Go Coogs!

Last I checked, Colt will be 4th QB off the board at best (2nd - 4th round) and opinions vary on Tebow. Some people think he'll be the next Frank Wycheck, others (John McClain) think he's going to be the next Steve Young.

I think It was more of a "WELCOME BACK" to our team. The fans are welcoming the team back into their hearts and Since they couldn't storm the field in Still water that was a makeup for it.

watching the game again on ESPN 360...want to savor it
