The edit player ratings feature is a rockets fans best friend.

 

Scola is more deserving of a 78 or 79. Remember, he might have a good mid-range jumper and excellent hustle, but his athleticism, jumping ability, dunking, and speed are pathetic.

 

idk about his speed though, who do you see a lot when the rockets are on a fast break, it usually scola
there are a lot skill that scola have and most people don't pay attention to it

Its always easier to rate the players on the team you attempt to watch 82 games a year. But to be fair, on paper they'd have to assume we are a top 5 team if Yao and Tracy were healthy...reality says we'll be lucky to grab a low playoff seed. They try to make it as realistic as possible and I think they have done a pretty damn good job.

 

Particularly since Yao owns Dwight nearly every time.

 

I'm very sad there is no Wafer or White in this game. My roster of Wafer, White, Artest, Landy, and Mutumbo got me into the top 100 in the online rankings.

Those are actually some pretty decent stats compared to last season.

 

Chuck Hayes post defense should be higher. I mean obviously he ain't good on perimeter defense?? Then what sort of defense is he good at?? Post?? That is the obvious choice!! When you think of Chuck Hayes, you think of defense. There is no way he get C+ for post defense.

 

Yao giving 77 rating is r****ded. He's unstoppable every time he got the ball. No one in this league beside Kobe or James demand more double team than Yao. His offensive rating should be in the 90. Overall rating should be at least 85-90.

1. Yao is injured. We shouldn't be allowed to use him in the first place.
2. Yao is not unstoppable. Nobody is UNSTOPPABLE. Every player has a certain type of player they are weak against.
3. Drawing double teams isn't relevant for the offensive rating of a player.

 

Yao has an 83 rating which I think is appropriate. If you have ever played the game before, you'll realize that Yao's height actually makes that 83 rating much higher. A lot of shots you take with Yao actually count as wide open shots just because the defender is so much shorter so a lower shooting rating doesn't mean as much to Yao. Also, if Yao's shot blocking stat was any higher, he would be blocking 3 pointers.

 

So how do these people have the game already?

And, is that an extension? That pic shows his current salary and what he would get in the upcoming seasons.

 

I was hoping that he would get a pay cut. But not beyond my wildest dreams did we sign him to a potential 6 million a year contract. 10 million perhaps.
