anyone catch the series premiere last night on ABC? its a mockumentary style (a la the office) about 3 familys who are all related and dysfunctional in their own little ways. It stars Ed O'neill and has Sofia Vergera (hottie!). But I caught it last night and I was pleasantly surprised by it I like it and will continue watching the show to see how it goes. I wonder if anyone else thought it was good. My favorite part was when Cameron brought in the baby to "Circle of Life" I could not stop laughing at that part. pretty good start I liked it more than the new nbc show Community (did not see a thread on the show so sorry if its a dupe)
This show was genius...I laughed throughout and has potential for greatness...Finally, get to see Sofia on a weekly basis..mmmm... I must admit, I stayed tuned in and caught cougartown, which had some funny moments...
I thought it was good. There was nothing on and I was flipping through the channels and caught it. Lion King was a riot. It reairs Friday, I set it to DVR for my wife to see.
I was laughing pretty good and there were times when I was cringing like when you watch Curb Your Enthusiasm or The Office and the American Office.
^ Missed the premiere last night, but you can catch it again on ABC's website. I do not have the link. TWO WORDS: SofĂa Vergara. I caught only the ending of it... the one with the party and her getting "felt up" by the guy and the lady says: "touch, not feel"
I liked the show..gives me something to watch on Wednesday night. The part where the gay guy brings in the baby with the Circle of Life song playing was hilarious and there were some other funny moments too.. Glee is kinda funny also Cougar Town..not so much
I really should have fully read Yoyo's post before I posted since he mentioned the baby scene already! I forgot to mention that I found the wannabe hip dad really funny.. And that hisp chick is hot
I watched it on hulu this morning, I didn't realize it had premiered last night. I really enjoyed it, like you said, I thought it was much better than Community.
"why are you smiling?" the best part was the end when you thought ed o'neill was narrating the sweet scene and it turns out he was just making fun of his stepson.
God, when the dad tried to talk to the daughters boy friend on the stairs and the subsequent interview cutaways with the eventual slipping on the baby oil and being carried by the guy to the couch was probably the funniest part.
WAAAAAY Better, that show was boring! I really liked Modern Family, all 3 story lines were great ! And lines so great (as shown by this thread) that you have to repeat them immediately! "I gave her my heart and she gave me a picture of myself as an 'ol time sheriff." (love that kid) "I can't turn it off, it's who I am!" The chicks are hot and for the first time in my life I don't hate Ed O'Neil! Will def watch!
