    That may have been true....

I mean we'll see if Grover is really all that. If Jermaine O'Neal and T-Mac can return to elite status, then that man is legend.

With Grover as his trainer, Ralph Sampson could have come back strong from his knee injury on the way to a Hall of Fame career and multiple titles for the Rockets.

Maybe Grant Hill could have gotten back sooner in Orlando as well?

Maybe Bill Murray could have overcome his knee issues to help the Toon Squad further in Space Jam.

Damn, that is one great hypothetical there. If only we would have known about the greatness of Grover sooner.

Imagine 3 important cogs of the greatest team ever assembled:

Moochie, MoTay, and the Catomic Bomb -

with Grover in the wings? Game over ...

Mo Taylor would be compared to Chris Webber

Kelvin Cato would grow up to be the better between he and Jermain O'neal

Moochie Norris would back up Francis, get cut, and rejoin the team with a bald head...just skinnier

Wasn't there some super doctor who helped Tmac with his back at one point? Wasn't that dude supposed to cure him forever? Well, so much for that.

TMac likes believing in these types of miracles, and if it helps him come back stronger, so be it.

You're going to have to connect the dots on how this relates to Rudy's timely exit to a greater extent bro..I don't get it as currently constituted.

Tim Grover works on their core to make them more balance and stronger in certain areas where they can never reach. He keeps them in great shape and teaches them new techniques to prevent injuries. He doesn't turn horrible players into great players.

Tim Grover get them to be in great shape but they have to be talented also. Tim Grover dont make players talented. Like Luther Head can be in great shape but he does not have the talent like Tmac, Kobe or Wade.

He definitely could have gotten more (like a few pounds) out of Mo Taylor. Cato and Moochie just weren't talented enough in my opinion, and that's the main reason they aren't in the league.

I used to help out with summer workouts with the Rockets when Falsone was there. Trust me on this, you can't get some guys to work hard, you just can't. Guys either have the desire to improve or they don't. You can design the greatest workout program in the world and if an athlete gives you 50% effort you'll see poor results. Conversely, 100% effort with a mediocre program can still produce impressive results. Some athletes unfortunately just don't have the heart to constantly push themselves to improve, no trainer can change that.

is it fair to say, in general, how good one is in basketball depends on 3 main things, Skills + Physical Strength + Heart. I'd say Skills carries 40% weight, Strength another 40% and Heart = 20%. so basically, Grover could only control 40% if not 50% (he might be a good motivator) but when it comes to skills, sometimes no matter how hard you work at it, either you have it or you dont. and those 3 guys had only that much of skills in them. now i believe Strength and Heart kinda goes hand in hand, whereby, the more heart you have, the harder you work with your Strength (Stamina, Conditioning, Leaping ability, Finesse, etc.). anyway its off season, nothing much to talk about, so im probably spewing out one too many rubbish. hope y'all dont mind.

but i still remember Moochie's game winner....was it against the Knicks? those guys should be just grateful they are able to tell their kids and later their grand kids they played in the NBA, dont forget, its not easy even being a mediocre player in the NBA, there's a lot of training involved.

    just a thought......James White (15% Skill + 35% Strength + 8% Heart)

    Tmac (35% Skill + 25% Strength + 5% Heart)
    Yao (30% Skill + 30% Strength + 17% Heart)
    Scola (32% Skill + 25% Strength + 25% Heart)

anyone agree with me? anyway, we'll see if the workout with Grover payed off with T-Mac, i will only believe in him until i see how he performs on the court over a span of at least 20 games, no more no less.
