Got it, beat it on Legendary with a friend. Not bad, but some of the things take a bit of getting used to (visor, no double wield) and you take a LOT less damage since you're a normal human, not a tank with legs.
I really love Halo and I was looking forward to getting ODST...but I can't see myself spending 60 bucks on a 6hr campaign (not with Assasin's Creed II and Modern Warfare 2 around the corner). Firefight sounds cool but if there's no matchmaking option I'll have the same problem as I do w/ Hord. And the maps, well I just haven't played multiplayer as near as much as I did for Halo 2. I would like all the maps but I can't see myself playing online anymore than I do now. So yeah... 60 bucks for a single campaign doesn't seem worth it. If Best Buy price matches I might consider it...but I could probably wait till it drops even further. It'd be nice if they kept it as an expansion to Halo 3 like originally planned and didn't package the maps with it.
May buy it when the price comes down... but as much as I LOVED the original Halo (which I still own, along with Halo 3), it doesn't seem like the franchise has done enough to stay fresh lately.
Hmm.. should I take the Toys R Us deal and get an action figure(worth $31.99) and a gift card for another game.. or just pocket $20 by price matching at Best Buy

Just bought it. The 1st 3 stores that I went to all sold out their ODST. I won't have much time playing these few weeks, but it'd be fun to have a first look at it.
Firefight is a lifetime of fun. I can never find enough that want to play though... "THEB1GNASTY" Hit me up for some Halo fellas!
I'm crazy interested in Firefight, but I'm gonna play through the campaign first. Thus far (just finished Buck's mission), it's good but completely inferior to Halo 3. If nothing us, ODST is helping me convince a friend to play through Halo 3 with me.
