Right now it is prudent for both to wait and see what happens.

I fail to see why anyone even TRIES to argue with DD, otherwise know as King of the Hot Air Club... or his Native American name -- He who has tons of freetime.

I mean the man made a video about how the Rockets were going to get better after the Alston trade -- which I admit he was accurate on in some things.

But I have grown to be very wary of his postings, while in the past I would seek them out. Now it seems they anger me more than anything.

As much as it is said if you don't like the posting of Tmac pics or Tmac threads here why read them -- I would say the same to commenting on them.

I like the idea of seeing the pics but as to make an assumption as to why the pics are being posted or where they are originating from, WHY?

There are those that care and those that don't. If you don't move along there is nothing to see here. I personally don't mind seeing them but as a price anyone here pays for wanting to see ANYTHING Tmac related we must prepare ourselves mentally for the Tmac bashing that is sure to follow.

And to say "I am pulling for Tmac" just to see him traded and what he can get us... this is a backhanded slight if anything. So may as well place yourself in that group that should move on. At least this is my opinion. Which ultimately this entire post is.

I don't know DD personally, and have no true desire to. But he is one of the more vocal here on these boards and for the times he is accurate in his responses a lot of his responses seem to be more critical than anything else. At least those that I read now. Which I am sure it is to be pointed out this is as well -- critical.

I am just glad that October approaches soon and with that all of this manufacturing of news will become real news and I may be able to enjoy the boards again.

Go Rockets. And yes I do mean Tracy McGrady in that too. I hope that he comes back and shuts ALL the naysayers mouths. But I know in anything good Mr McGrady does, some fault will be found.

But then I am hoping that SF3 makes some kind of come back somewhere as well.

That is just me. Once a Rocket means Rocket for life in my book.

Go Scott Brooks -- lead the Thunder to a winning season!!!!

That will be much harder IMO. Recovery from any kind of a knee injury plus surgery is tough, especially with the daily pounding in a very athletic, fast game like NBA basketball.

All I am saying is one guy had to rehab a shoulder and a knee to which DD calls minor and the other guy had a ankle cleanout. One guy missed the 1st games with a ankle and nothing was said while the other was blasted even if he was injured.

BimaThug I was going to start a threaed about the exact thing your talking about. That's why I'm certain Tracy will be resigned, not that I agree. Its the same bs about the young and comer. I've looked at all the rosters and I don't see that guy in which a gm is going to dump for tracy. In my mind, I would like to get deng and miller, but I doubt chicago wants to dump deng. I would also like to get martin and filler, but I don't think taking nocioni and beno is worth it either. So what will be left is tracy resigning for 9m or so unless he takess the mle to play with another contender. I'd like to rebuild, but if you think there are empty seats in the lower bowl now, start rebuilding and it will be much worse.

I"ve said the same thing in a face to face conversation w/ someone not too fond of Tracy. Rockets doctors telling Tmac everything is fine just keep playing, it cant get worse. I wonder how Tmac felt when he found out they were trying to trade him at the same time. i was told I was making excuses because Im a fan. Cmon put yourself in his shoes maybe then you will understand why he did what he did. But I guess he's easy to hate for some. Or thats what they keep saying.

People here take doctors' words to be 100% complete fact, when they are human and make mistakes too. Heck, I was referred to a reputable surgeon in Sugar Land who performed two erroneous surgeries on me; I'm still paying for it.

Unfortunately only you know how you're really feeling; the doctors have to rely on their experience and your articulation of your pain and symptoms.

Seems like T-Mac isn't the only one trying to "prove people wrong".

I much agree with you sir. But I am much more excited about seeing what this team can do without a Tracy on the team or a Tmac offense. A team full of guys that play their hearts out, thats' something I can support. A team full of players that think team first and a not a player that thinks "I" first.

I agree with much of you Tracy supporters. I sick of all the Tracy bashing and this forum will be a much better place once Tracy is no longer around.

Many on this board regard the rockets' doctors as the worst in the business. They let Yao play on a sore foot for months, causing us to lose him for the rest of the 07/08 season. They chose to operate to remove Yao's toenail right before training camp in the 06/07 season, ruining the stamina he had built up. They were ineffective in treating Tmac's back pain, forcing him to go to a specialist. Last summer, four of our starters had surgery and only one of them came back without issues (Rafer).

Yet, when they tell Tmac to play on a weak knee to make it stronger fans take their word as gospel. He played on the knee and it didn't get better. Simple as that. Doctors do a great job, but they are not perfect.

Cant fault effort. No matter what form it shows up in. Its good to see the guy working hard to make a run at recovering his career. Thats not fake no matter what people say. He already has 23 million dollars paid to himself this year. He could have done anything else and shut it down for Houstonians who continue to snipe at him from the sidelines. Yet here he is muscling and gutting his way through it all. That is heart and strength no matter what anybody says.

So hes finally doing what he was supposed to do a year ago. Working out. Wow, This what a guy is supposed to do every off season. I think this is why Ive always respected Kobe as a player. Kobe works for it compared to T-Mac. T-Mac cried about it.

Heart of a Champion T-Mac! Is it in YOU?
