    DAD. GUM.

How many times did you post that? SIX?

Pete, I hear it's not bad. Just be sure you take the juice or cookie or whatever they give you.

    I can't donate. :(

I try to give every couple months (or whatever the limit is). I go to the blood center on Westheimer near the Beltway. They have comfortable chairs with personal TVs if you want to watch something. You get refreshments/freshly baked cookies and a coupon for a pint of Blue Bell. The needle is big and a bit of a b****, but I get through it, and I don't have a very high pain threshold.

Assuming that the process is pretty much the same the world over, i donate every couple of weeks here is Oz. (Plasma & Plattettes), blood is every 3 months. Once the needle is in, you just sit back and relax for however long it takes. I'd say 30 seconds of being uncomfortable over the whole process.. Nothing to worry about. It is a good thing to do..
