Well that was fast...I'd take Manning with one good reciever and junk let alone an all pro reciever and TE!
If Caldwell has any brains then on the next offensive possession, Manning should run a no huddle, several audibles and hot routes at the line of scrimmage. Confuse the defense like the Wildcat has done to yours.
Gruden is becoming one of the best anaylst doing NFL games very quickly but yea he loves him some Wildcat and its a little scarey lol
That was just pathetic. Yes, I'm sure the Colts player wasn't injured before the timeout -- considering the clock ran for 15 seconds from the end of the previous play. I freakin' bet.
Worst 3 and half minute drill I have ever seen in a game. LOL at Miami controlled the game for 45 minutes then Peyton undressed them in in 30 secs. WILDCAT FAIL!
Ginn had two paws on the ball and couldn't bring it in. Thats what happens when Cam Cameron drafts a punt returner 9th overall because he comes from a good family.
"Well what we do well is run the clock and dominate time of possession, and we aren't going to abandon our game plan just because we are behind, we thought it was darned unsporting of the Colts to stop playing just because the game clock time had expired."
Yup, but you won't get that call in the last two minutes -- just like it wouldn't have gone the other way had Ginn pushed off. The timeout, on the other hand, was just a WTF moment on all counts. One, if the officials really think that Colts linebacker magically hit the ground after the timeout was called, they were smoking something serious. Second, if the Dolphins were going to waste their last timeout there, how about calling it right after Pennington was sacked, instead of waiting 15 seconds? Really bizarre sequence.
