    Well done! I've heard rumors that there will be a possible world tour happening. I'm going to wait to see if they come any closer to Houston. Either way, I'll end up at one of their shows. Somewhere.

    Shameless Self-Promotion: A few friends and I started a Pavement cover band. It consists of various members of past and present Houston bands. Playing Halloween night at Walters. Come out, should be fun.

    Anyways, currently listening to Flaming Lips - Clouds Taste Metallic

    Just bought my tickets to their New Years Eve show/bash in OKC. Can't wait!

    Wow, no kidding! As a serious hobby I produce drum & bass music and as such try my best to mix my songs down to send out demos. Easily the most frustrating thing about the process of making music. I have a lot of respect for that profession.

    I hear the same thing about the D&B scene and music in general about the 'loudness wars' in the digital age. There's now a backlash among famous, established artists and aspiring artists alike in the D&B scene who are slowly trying to combat it. I'm sure it's happening in other genres too.
